Jul. 1–Aug. 31: JPX Kitahama Festa 2017

OSE hosted JPX Kitahama Festa 2017 from July 1 to August 31. The festival featured seminars from industry experts and basic lectures on stocks and derivatives.
Panel displays titled "Tomoatsu Godai and Osaka Exchange (OSE)" showcased the achievements of *Tomoatsu Godai and the interview between OSE President & CEO Yamaji and Mr. Shinya Nakamura, who erected the bronze statue of Tomoatsu Godai.
A magnificently decorated Tanabata tree was placed on the atrium this year, which is located on the first floor of the old market building at OSE. Students of nearby elementary schools and visitors at OSE tied tanzaku (short strips of fancy paper with wishes written on them) onto the Tanabata tree.
The event was a great success; and, by the end of the last day, the Tanabata tree was adorned with over 1000 tanzaku.
