Net Asset Value (NAV) per Unit

Net Asset Value(NAV)per Unit is the amount that minus the debt from the assets of the Fund divided by the number of issued investment units, and its forehead will increase if operation goes well.

Securities Registration Statement/ Interim Report/ Disclosure Material

After an accounting period, the securities registration statements of Country Funds are submitted to the Prime Minister within six months and interim reports are also within three months, and both can be available for inspection through EDINET. Moreover, securities registration statement and interim report of Country Funds and disclosure material made when funds have made important decision or big change about investment country occurred can be available for inspection through company announcements service.

Investment Measure

Net Asset Value (NAV) per Unit

As general Investment Measure of Country Funds, Net Asset Value (NAV) per Unit is used. NAV per Unit is the amount that minus the debt from the assets of the Fund divided by the number of issued investment units, and its forehead will increase if the operation of fund goes well.

Price fluctuation is depended on supply and demand in the market.

Price fluctuation of investment security of Country Funds, as well as stocks of general business firms, is depended on supply and demand relation based on investment decisions in the market. This is the point that is apparently different from investment trust (contract-type) which can be redeemed in the standard price.

Calculating Formula of Premium Rate/ Discount Rate

In general, if the anticipated price rises in the future of the country fund is large, the price of investment securities will exceed the NAV (Premium State), and Conversely ,if the future is a concern, the price of investment securities will be less than NAV (Discount State). Whether how Country Fund exceeds NAV (Premium Rate) or is less than it (Discount Rate) can be calculated by the following calculating formula.

For example, according to the following calculating formula, the premium rate of a fund which price is JPY 300 and NAV is JPY 250 becomes 20%.

Conversely, according to the following calculating formula, the premium rate of a fund which price is JPY 250 and NAV is JPY 300 becomes 16.7%.
