Number of Inappropriate Disclosures

Number of warnings given for inappropriate disclosure

For the purpose of raising awareness of the importance of timely disclosure by TSE-listed companies and preventing violations of any regulation concerning timely disclosure, TSE delivers a reminder when it finds that a listed company has violated such regulations.
When a listed company is recognized as having violated any regulation concerning timely disclosure, TSE may take measures such as public announcement and imposing a listing agreement violation penalty. In addition, TSE may require a listed company to submit an improvement report when the company is deemed to need urgent improvement.
To encourage listed companies to perform more timely and appropriate disclosure, TSE has been publicizing the number of reminders given in each month since May 2003.
Refer to the following pages for the overview of each system concerning the above measures.
