Sep. 7: Expansion of FLEX Historical Service

TSE provides real time market information that is accumulated daily as historical tick data information (FLEX Historical Service). Based on requests from current users and those who are considering using FLEX Historical Service, TSE will change the content provided and provision method by, for example, changing the data to those that are provided in packet capture format (pcap) to which time of receipt (time stamp) information is assigned. The new service will be launched from May 2021.
With the above changes of FLEX Historical Service, TSE aims to improve the value of FLEX Historical Service and contribute to improving user convenience.

Sep. 7: IHS Markit and TSE to Combine Data, Creating a Unique Japanese Securities Finance Data Set

TSE in collaboration with IHS Markit will launch a new data service to deliver comprehensive datasets that combine the breakdown of TSE trading data and stock loan data of IHS Markit.
With the use of this new service, data users including investors and securities firms can efficiently collect and analyze data.
By taking the form of collaboration, TSE aims to acquire a new customer segment and promote sales of the breakdown of trading data through promotional activities with IHS Markit.

Sep. 16: TSE launched TSE Timely Disclosure Corpus Service

With the aim of promoting the spread of English disclosure documents and their utilization, TSE launched a paid service of providing corpus data created from timely disclosure documents on September 16, 2020.
Corpus is an accumulation of digitalized natural language sentences utilized for research on natural language processing, etc., and in recent years, it is employed especially for machine translation.
With the use of the TSE Timely Disclosure Corpus Service, it is expected that provision of information will be strengthened by efficient and sophisticated creation of English disclosure documents by listed companies and translation companies and that more overseas investors will use timely disclosure documents created by utilizing machine translation.
