Macroeconomic Workshop

Tokyo Stock Exchange Inc. (TSE) recognizes the immense impact of Japan's economy on the financial market and takes initiative in recommending policy measures and disseminating information beyond its scope as a market operator. As part of its efforts in advocacy, TSE invited leading academics of economic science and related disciplines to discuss market-related themes in a series of macroeconomics workshops.

These workshops were held seven times from September 2011 to March 2012 and a “Macroeconomy and Capital Markets" Workshop Report was compiled based on the workshops. The report contains insights from workshop discussions and issues TSE should focus on going forward.
