Jul. 22, 2025 JPXI JPXI Adds Corporate Action Information and Expands Listed Issue Information for J-Quants Pro Data Service
Today, JPX Market Innovation & Research, Inc. (JPXI), a leading global provider of Japanese financial market data, began providing a new Corporate Action Information dataset via the J-Quants Pro data service. Additionally, JPXI has expanded the existing Listed Issue Information dataset to include base price information for the next business day, while also offering external distribution agreements for some J-Quants Pro datasets.
New and Expanded Datasets
Corporate Action Information
This dataset includes information on corporate actions for Japanese listed issues (stocks, ETFs, REITs), such as stock splits, reverse stock splits, dividends, and corporate name changes. The dataset serves as a comprehensive source of information, with coverage of all listed companies within Japan. Additionally, the set features historical data spanning 10 years or greater, making it highly useful for long-term analysis.
Base Price Information (Added to Listed Issue Information)
JPXI is also adding base price information to the existing Listed Issue Information dataset. This dataset includes both historical data and data for the following business day. This expansion, which comes at no additional cost, enables subscribers to conduct analysis using past base price information while also preparing for the next trading day in advance.

Introduction of External Distribution Agreements for J-Quants Pro
JPXI has begun offering external distribution agreements for some J-Quants Pro datasets. These agreements will enable new options for information vendors and allow trading participants to distribute J-Quants pro data sets to customers. Please refer to the attached documents for more details on which datasets are permitted for external distribution.
