Nov. 02, 2021  ICMA/JSDA 5th Annual Sustainable Finance Conference (Nov 12)

 

On November 12, 2021, the International Capital Markets Association (ICMA) and Japan Securities Dealers Association (JSDA) will hold their 5th annual sustainable finance conference, themed “How can Japanese capital markets contribute to a sustainable society?”

This event has been held annually since 2017. It will look at the benefits of issuing climate transition bonds, social bonds, and sustainability-linked bonds, introducing case studies from global and Japanese markets, and consider the conditions needed to encourage growth in the market, including recent initiatives from the Japanese government.

On the day before this seminar, an Executive Training Course will be held on the same topic.
Lectures will be given using case studies from issuers on topics including the Climate Transition Finance Handbook, points to note on the revised Green/Social Bond Principles, and related documents.
