Feb. 15, 2024 TSE Alert regarding Submission of Securities Report by Gun Ei Chemical Industry Co., Ltd.

Gun Ei Chemical Industry Co., Ltd.(Code: 4229, Market Division: Prime Market) (hereinafter "the Company") did not submit its quarterly report for the third quarter of the fiscal year ending Mar. 2024 by the Feb. 14, 2024 (Wed.) submission deadline as specified in the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act. On Feb. 14, 2024 (Wed.), the Company disclosed that it had completed preparing the quarterly report but could not submit the report and that it will submit the report on Feb. 15, 2024 (Thu.).

In consideration of the reason above, Tokyo Stock Exchange has not designated the stock of the Company as a Security Under Supervision (Confirmation).

*The Company's quarterly report for the third quarter of the fiscal year ending Mar. 2024 was confirmed as submitted on Feb. 15, 2024 (Thu.).
