Apr. 22, 2024 TSE Designation of Securities Under Supervision (Confirmation): NEXT FUNDS Nikkei-JPX Platinum Index Linked Exchange Traded Fund

 

TSE has designated an issue as Securities Under Supervision (Confirmation) as follows.

１．Issue Name NEXT FUNDS Nikkei-JPX Platinum Index Linked Exchange Traded Fund beneficiary certificate
(Code: 1682, Product: ETF)
２．Period of Designation as
　　Securities Under Supervision
　　(Confirmation) 		From Apr. 22, 2024 (Mon.) to the day when TSE determines whether the ETF has fallen under the delisting criteria
　　Reason
　　(Related Clause)		 Due to falling under cases where a decision concerning an amendment to the trust deed of an investment trust has been made, which falls under establishment of an investment trust agreement period
(Enforcement Rules for Securities Listing Regulations, Rule 1115, Paragraph 1, Item (2) )
３．Details of Reason Today, the management company pertaining to NEXT FUNDS Nikkei-JPX Platinum Index Linked Exchange Traded Fund (hereinafter "the ETF"), made a decision concerning an amendment to the trust deeds of the investment trust for the ETF that will make the investment trust agreement period expire on Aug. 20, 2024 and announced said decision.
If the agenda of the aforementioned amendment to the trust deeds is approved by written resolution of the beneficiaries scheduled for Jul. 18, 2024, the ETF will be delisted on Aug. 19, 2024. As such, TSE deems that it is likely that the ETF will be delisted and thus has designated the ETF as Securities Under Supervision (Confirmation).
