May 23, 2019 TSE Approval of Initial listing (ETF): One ETF Southern China A-Share CSI 500(Asset Management One)

 

Today, Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. (TSE) approved the listing of new ETF managed by Asset Management One. The ETF will be listed on Tuesday, June 25, 2019.

Note: This ETF is part of the "Japan-China ETF Connectivity" scheme. Japan-China ETF Connectivity allows for the creation of feeder ETFs of Shanghai-listed ETFs to be listed in Tokyo, and vice versa. With such ETFs investing in Chinese or Japanese assets, the scheme creates a link between the ETF markets of Tokyo Stock Exchange and Shanghai Stock Exchange. The scheme was established based on an agreement signed by Japan Exchange Group, Inc. and Shanghai Stock Exchange in April 2019.

The new listing was approved based on the results of the examination by Japan Exchange Regulation.
