Jan. 26, 2021 TSE Approval of Initial listing (ETF):iFreeETF China STAR50 and 1 ETF(Daiwa Asset Management)

 

Today, Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. (TSE) approved the listing of new ETFs managed by Daiwa Asset Management. The ETFs will be listed on Thursday, April 8, 2021.

Note: These ETFs are part of the "Japan-China ETF Connectivity" scheme. Utilizing the investment quotas and other arrangements for the scheme, Japan-China ETF Connectivity enables the listing of feeder ETFs of ETFs investing in Japanese or Chinese assets, thereby creating a link between the ETF markets of both countries.

The new listing was approved based on the results of the examination by Japan Exchange Regulation.
