Apr. 10, 2026 OSE Single Stock Option Trading Volume Hits Record High in FY2025
Osaka Exchange (OSE) announces today that the trading volume of single stock options reached 4,544,558 contracts in fiscal year 2025, marking a new all-time high.
Since the issues eligible for market making were expanded in September 2025, trading in SSOs has continued to increase. This trend has been driven by such factors as brisk trading in TSE’s equity market, an increase in investors who utilize listed companies’ earnings announcements and other investment materials in order to trade SSOs, and a wider range of investors trading SSOs.
