Jun. 02, 2022 JPXI Calculation of Indices in Relation to Mercari, Inc. Market Segment Transfer
The market segment transfer of Mercari, Inc. (4385) from the Growth Market to the Prime Market was announced on May 31, 2022 (effective June 7). In accordance with this, based on the index guidebooks, the stocks of Mercari, Inc. will be added to TOPIX and removed from the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) Mothers Index on July 29, 2022 (adjustments will be made before markets open).
Since the weight of this issue in the TSE Mothers Index is relatively high and this is the first issue to transfer to the Prime Market after the general transition to the new market segments, Japan Exchange Group Market Innovation & Research (JPXI) decided to separately announce its addition to TOPIX and removal from the TSE Mothers Index.

*According to the TSE Index Guidebook (TOPIX), stocks which transfer to the Prime Market shall be added to TOPIX on the last business day of the month following the month containing the transfer date.
**According to the TSE Index Guidebook (TSE Mothers Index), stocks of constituents newly included in TOPIX shall be removed from the TSE Mothers Index on the day of said inclusion.
