Sep. 16, 2022 JPXI Calculation of JPX-Nikkei Index 400 in relation to shares of NIPPON TELEGRAPH AND TELEPHONE CORPORATION (9432)

 



The shares of NIPPON TELEGRAPH AND TELEPHONE CORPORATION (Code: 9432) held by the Ministry of Finance of Japan (MoF) were not originally included in the number of listed shares to be used for index calculation. JPX Market Innovation & Research, Inc. and Nikkei Inc. announced today that, as of the close of trading on September 29, 2022, they will include the shares (92,925,400 shares) acquired from the MoF as treasury stock of NIPPON TELEGRAPH AND TELEPHONE CORPORATION and change FFW ratio following cap-adjustment accordingly, when calculating JPX-Nikkei Index 400.
