Aug. 29, 2025 JPXI Index Calculation in relation to shares of JAPAN POST HOLDINGS Co.,Ltd. (6178)

The shares of JAPAN POST HOLDINGS Co.,Ltd. (Code: 6178) held by the Japanese government were not originally included in the number of listed shares to be used for index calculation. JPX Market Innovation & Research, Inc. (JPXI) announced today that, as of the close of trading on September 29, 2025, it will include the shares (84,936,400 shares) acquired from the Japanese government as treasury stock of JAPAN POST HOLDINGS Co.,Ltd and change FFW accordingly, when calculating JPXI indices.
