News Release
Sep. 25, 2026 TSE Announcement of the 2026 “TSE Asia Startup Hub” Supported Companies
Today, Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. (TSE) is pleased to announce that it has selected 23 companies (seven newly selected and 16 re-selected) as the 2026 Supported Companies of the TSE Asia Startup Hub.
The TSE Asia Startup Hub was launched in March 2024. Focusing on promising Asian companies with ties to Japan, it promotes business expansion in the Japanese market and partnerships with Japanese companies through the development of an ecosystem that supports startup growth, thereby supporting IPOs on TSE as one of the outcomes.
The first Supported Companies, 14 companies from six countries/regions, were selected in September 2024. Subsequently, 20 companies from seven countries/regions were selected in September 2025, and today, seven additional companies from six countries/regions, namely the Republic of Korea, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Mongolia, have been added, bringing the total to 23 companies across ten countries/regions. As a result, the scope of both the regions and the companies encompassed by this initiative continues to expand steadily.
The Supported Companies span a wide range of industries and business models, but all of them either aim to expand into the Japanese market or seek to capture Asia's growth through partnerships with Japanese companies. For the Supported Companies re-selected this time, we have provided support tailored to each company's needs, including business expansion in Japan, financing, and IPO support, in collaboration with the partners and observers of the TSE Asia Startup Hub. As a result, some companies have formed new business partnerships with Japanese firms or established entities in Japan. In this way, the TSE Asia Startup Hub is working solidly as a platform that supports promising overseas startups in expanding their business and preparing for listing in Japan.
In addition, as many stakeholders have expressed their support for the purpose of this initiative, the number of partners and observers has grown from 15 domestic entities at its launch to 62 entities in Japan and overseas. This shows that the formation of an Asian startup ecosystem involving a broad range of public- and private-sector stakeholders is also progressing steadily.
Furthermore, the “Japan Growth Strategy” approved by the Cabinet in July 2026 includes a policy of providing support, in cooperation with TSE and others, for promising overseas startups from their entry into Japan through to their listing on TSE.
Going forward, TSE, together with its partners and observers, will continue to provide support tailored to the needs of the 23 Supported Companies, including business expansion and financing in Japan as well as IPO support.
- ・The publication of the Supported Companies does not guarantee or approve any matters, including the future listing of the Supported Companies on the TSE market or the products and services provided by the Supported Companies.
- ・TSE plans to carry out a periodic review of the Supported Companies annually.
