Jul. 29, 2026 JPXI JPXI to Launch Daily Distribution Service for Outstanding Margin Trading by Issue
JPX Market Innovation & Research, Inc. (JPXI) currently provides a weekly distribution service for outstanding margin transactions by issue for stocks listed on Tokyo Stock Exchange, based on data as of the end of the previous week. Starting on September 28 (planned), in addition to the weekly service, JPXI will launch a new daily distribution service to provide outstanding margin transactions by issue, based on data as of the end of the previous business day.
Key Features of the Service
- Provides daily distribution of outstanding margin transactions for each issue listed on Tokyo Stock Exchange, as of the end of the previous business day, broken down by issue, long/short positions, and by negotiable/standardized margin transactions.
- Enables users to track outstanding margin positions for individual issues on a daily basis, allowing timely monitoring of supply and demand trends and changes in leverage conditions. This is expected to enhance the accuracy of trade timing decisions as well as risk management in response to rapid changes in supply and demand.
- Available through multiple distribution channels and formats, including APIs, file transfer (FTP/SFTP), Snowflake data sharing, and CSV downloads via the website. The provision of automated and machine-readable data facilitates seamless integration into proprietary trading strategies and information services for retail investors, contributing to more sophisticated decision-making for investments and improved market convenience. Depending on the distribution method, users may select either the information distribution system (TMI) or J-Quants Pro.
