TSE Growth Market 250 Index Futures (previously known as TSE Mothers Index Futures) are the first listed derivatives on mainly Japanese emerging market.

TSE Growth Market 250 Index (previously known as TSE Mothers Index)

TSE Mothers Index was a free-float adjusted market capitalization-weighted index which was calculated based on all common stocks listed on TSE Mothers market. Although TSE Mothers market was reorganized on April 4, 2022, TSE has partially changed the calculation rules of TSE Mothers index and continues to calculate the index.
Based on certain rules, a three-stage replacement of component stocks of Tokyo Stock Exchange Mothers Index was conducted, and on November 6, 2023, the index name was changed to "Tokyo Stock Exchange Growth Market 250 Index".
