Listing Fees

Examination Fees for Segment Transfer

When applying for a segment transfer, listed companies are required to pay the examination fee corresponding to the destination market segment as specified in the table below.

Prime Market JPY 4 mil. End of the month following the month of the segment transfer application
Standard Market JPY 3 mil.
Growth Market JPY 2 mil.

(Consumption taxes (paid to national and local governments) are not included.)

  • If a preliminary application is filed, a preliminary examination fee of the same amount as the examination fee for segment transfer is required. If a company which has filed a preliminary application then files an application for segment transfer within the fiscal year of the date of application for segment transfer indicated in the preliminary application, the company is not required to pay the examination fee for segment transfer.

Segment Transfer Fees

When transferring to another market segment, listed companies are required to pay a segment transfer fee corresponding to the destination market segment as specified in the table below.

Standard Market JPY 8 mil.
Growth Market JPY 1 mil.

(Consumption taxes (paid to national and local governments) are not included.)

  • However, the amounts below that have been previously paid shall be deducted from the amounts in the above table.
    (1) Listing administration fee paid at the time of listing
    (2) Segment transfer fee paid at the time of a previous segment transfer
  • For companies that were listed as of April 3, 2022, regardless of the above, the amounts in the table below plus the amounts paid for segment transfer on or after April 4, 2022 shall be deducted.
