Outline of the Data Sandboxing Program

JPX Market Innovation & Research, Inc. sponsors a data sandboxing program (hereinafter referred to as "the Program") to serve as a new framework to provide cross-industry support for the creation of new services that use securities data. Under the Program, companies supported by JPXI's Innovation Partners may use the paid data of the JPX Group companies and JPXI's Data Partners for free or at a discount for a limited time for the purpose of creating new services. By lowering the hurdle for data use during the service creation phase, the Program supports the research and development and prototyping of new services. However, since the data may only be used internally, separate agreements with the JPX Group companies and JPXI's Data Partners are required when providing data acquired through the Program to third parties.
