About the Tour
- Q1. How much does the visit cost?
- A1. It is free of charge.
- Q2. Can I use a wheelchair?
- A2. You are welcome to use a wheelchair, however, there are some areas where wheelchairs cannot enter. There are wheelchair-accessible restrooms.
- Q3. Do I need to bring any ID, such as my passport?

You do not need to bring any ID.
There will be baggage inspection when entering the TSE building. We ask for your understanding and cooperation.
- Q4. Can I take photos?
- A4. Photos are allowed but do not use flash. Recording during the tour and photographing our employees are prohibited.
- Q5. Do you offer guided tours in languages other than Japanese?
- A5. We provide English-language guided tours for overseas visitors.
- Q6. What should I wear?
- A6. There is no specific dress code.
- Q7. Do I need to bring anything to the tour?
- A7. No, there is nothing you need to bring.
- Q8. Do I need to be in a group to visit?
- A8. You don’t need to be in a group. Individuals are welcome.
- Q9. Can one person take a guided tour?
- A9. You can participate in a guided tour with a group that has already booked.
- Q10. Can we visit with the children?
- A10. Children are welcome to visit with their family.
- Q11. Can infants and toddlers participate in the tour?
- A11. Yes, they can participate in the tour.
- Q12. Are pets allowed?
- A12. Pets are not allowed.
About Reservation
- Q1. How far in advance can I make reservations?
- A1. Reservations can be made from 9:00 a.m. (JST) ninety (90) days prior to the day that you wish to visit.
- Q2. Can I make a guided tour reservation by phone?
- A2. We do not accept reservations by phone. Please apply on our website.
- Q3. Is a reservation necessary to visit?
- A3. Reservations are required if you wish to participate in a guided tour. Reservations are not required for self-guided tours with less than ten (10) people.
- Q4. Can I make a reservation on the day I’d like to visit?
- A4. You cannot make a reservation on the day. Please make a reservation at least seven (7) days before your visit.
- Q5. What should I do if the number of visitors change?
- A5. Up until seven (7) days before the visit, please change the number in the group on the website if needed. After that, please call us.
- Q6. What should I do to cancel a reservation?
- A6. Up until seven (7) days before the visit, please cancel from the website. After that, please call us.
- Q7. When can I change or cancel a reservation?
- A7. Changes in or cancellation of the reservation can be done on the website up until seven (7) days before the visit. After that, please call us.
- Q8. Can I make a reservation by phone?
- A8. Please make a reservation on the website.
- Q9. Can I combine and book multiple programs for the same day?
- A9. If there is a vacancy in the desired program, you can make a combined reservation for multiple programs.
- Q10. Can a travel agency make reservations for schools or other groups?
- A10. Bookings from travel agencies are acceptable?.
- Q11. Can I make a reservation on the website for a group visit as part of a travel agency-organized tour?
- A11. A group visit as part of a travel agency-organized tour should be booked on the website as well.

- Q1. Where can I get a meal in the building?

There are no restaurants in the building. Food and drinks are not allowed in the visitors area. Please refrain from bringing any food or drinks into the facility.
There is a break room with vending machines and a smoking room. Please feel free to use the break room.
- Q2. Is parking available?
- A2. There is no parking for taxis or cars. There is a parking area for buses. If bus parking or a brief stop is required, enter the number of buses on the application form.
- Q3. Can I leave my luggage during my visit?
- A3. There are a limited number of lockers at the visitor's entrance.
- Q4. Can I get a brochure for self-guided tours?
- A5. English-language brochures are available at the reception desk.
- Q5. When are you closed?
- A5. We are closed on Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, the last day of the year and New Year holidays (Dec. 31, Jan. 1-3).
