Feb. 24, 2026 TOCOM Fee Discount Campaign for TOCOM Electricity Futures and LNG (Platts JKM) Futures Transactions

Tokyo Commodity Exchange, Inc. (TOCOM) has been implementing a fee discount campaign for electricity futures transactions conducted between September 1, 2025 and March 31, 2026 (trading day basis). In order to further promote trading of electricity futures, we hereby announce that we have decided to extend this campaign. In addition, transactions in the Chubu area, for which trading will commence on April 13, 2026, will also be included in the scope of the fee discount campaign.
Furthermore, a fee discount campaign will also be implemented for LNG (Platts JKM) futures transactions.

Eligible Transactions and the Applied Fee Tables

The campaign fee table presented in the appendix attached herein will be applied during the campaign term to all auction and J-NET (or off-auction) trading of electricity futures and LNG (Platts JKM) futures at TOCOM. After applying the discount and adding the trading fee and clearing fee rates together, the total effective fee rates charged by TOCOM for electricity futures and LNG (Platts JKM) futures transactions are reduced by around 50%.

The Campaign Term

From April 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027 (trading day basis)
