Changes to Sector Classifications
The SICC will revise the sector classifications of companies listed on stock exchanges in Japan as appropriate if a company falls under the criteria specified by the SICC, such as when a company's main business has changed to a significant degree. These changes are made in April (for companies with fiscal years ending between April and September) and October (for companies with fiscal years ending between October and March). The 4-digit code of the issue will remain unchanged.
