New Enrollment of a CDS Clearing Participant (BNP Paribas S.A.)

JSCC has today granted CDS clearing qualification to BNP Paribas S.A. as of the 20th of September.

BNP Paribas S.A., one of the world’s leading financial institutions, has memberships of major overseas CDS clearing houses (CCP), actively trading as a key player in the CDS market including iTraxx Japan index which is eligible for clearing by JSCC.

Whilst further increase in the use of JSCC’s clearing system is anticipated through participation by BNP Paribas S.A., JSCC will continue to focus on the stable management and operation of the CDS clearing system in order to achieve further advancement, collaborating with relevant companies.
