Conducted the Compression of CDS Transactions

JSCC hereby announces that the second Compression cycle for cleared CDS Transactions covering following issues was conducted today:
- iTraxx Japan Series Number 14 Version 1
- iTraxx Japan Series Number 15 Version 1
- iTraxx Japan Series Number 16 Version 1
- iTraxx Japan Series Number 17 Version 1
- iTraxx Japan Series 23 Version 1
- All Single Name CDS issues designated by JSCC as Eligible CDS Transaction
As a result of today’s Compression, 38 transactions with total Notional Amount of JPY40 billion were terminated (33 full terminations and 5 partial terminations) (both on 1 side of leg).
JSCC will continue to strive for safe and efficient operation of Clearing Business, including continuous implementation of Compressions, to contribute to an improvement of convenience of market participants.
