As to the Option on JGB Futures, which is subject to the IM Add-on Charge rule, the level of the threshold for the Concentration under the said rule, in particular, has been extremely low due to decrease in the number of trades and positions in recent years. By this, chances of charging large amount of Add-on have increased.
Then, JSCC has decided, starting from August 14, 2023 (Mon.), to eliminate all contract months of Option on JGB Futures from the calculation of the Risk Amount and the threshold for judgment under the Concentration Threshold for the time being.
