Conducted the Compression of CDS Transactions

Japan Securities Clearing Corporation announced today that it had completed the Compression cycle for all of the cleared CDS Transactions.

JSCC has consistently posted notifications and preliminary results of each compression cycle through mid-month updates of statistical data on our website. However, considering the stable operations we have maintained, JSCC has decided to discontinue the publication of notifications and mid-month updates of statistical data on our website for future Compression cycles.

The results of the Compressions will continue to be available on the CDS statistical information page from the beginning of the month following the compression implementation.

JSCC will continue to strive for safe and efficient operation of Clearing Business, including continuous implementation of Compressions to contribute to an improvement of convenience of market participants.
