Oct. 19, 2017 TSEOSE Introduction of "JPX-Chicago Co-Location Direct" as a new arrownet-Global service.

About JPX-Chicago Co-Location Direct

Japan Exchange Group, Inc. (JPX) has announced the launch of Japanese Yen-denominated Tokyo Stock Price Index (TOPIX) futures to begin trading on Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) Globex by Q1(January - March) 2018.
In accordance with this, Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. (TSE) decided to provide "JPX-Chicago Co-Location Direct" which enables Users to have low-latency and efficient connections between financial markets in Chicago, where major derivatives exchanges like as CME are located, and JPX Co-Locations as arrownet-Global service with the cooperation of global network carriers (hereinafter ''Partner carriers").
We expect this JPX-Chicago Co-Location Direct service makes it easier to access major derivatives exchanges in the U.S. and enhance the liquidity on both Japanese and the U.S exchanges, especially Japanese equity related products such as TOPIX futures which will newly be listed on CME and existing Nikkei 225 futures.

Outline of JPX-Chicago Co-Location Direct

JPX-Chicago Co-Location Direct means 'One-Stop' international connectivity provided by Partner Carriers for users directly, and the connectivity consists of Cross-Connect inside Aurora Data Center/Cermak Data Center (hereinafter "Chicago Data Center") which is procured by Partner Carriers, Partner Carrier's international network and JPX arrownet.
This service enables Users to use the connectivity between JPX Co-Location and Chicago Data Center only by submitting applications to Partner Carriers.
