In October last year, leaders from industry and finance gathered in Tokyo for the first ever “TCFD Summit”, held by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. This year the second TCFD Summit will be held online, from 1pm on Friday, October 9.
At this year’s Summit, with TCFD-based climate-related financial information disclosure now gaining a strong foothold around the world, participants will discuss issues arising from TCFD implementation on the ground and necessary actions moving forward, while sharing their expertise on TCFD disclosure and its use by stakeholders. The discussion will be led by leading voices from global industry and finance. Miyahara Koichiro, President & CEO of JPX Group company Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc., will take part in the opening session.
