JPX Start-Up Acceleration 100 Index
Aim of JPX Startup Acceleration 100 Index (JPX Startup 100)
The JPX Startup Acceleration 100 Index (JPX Startup 100) is a stock price index composed of 100 leading high-growth startups in Japan.
It selects constituents from companies listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Growth Market and those that have undergone a market change from the Growth Market within a certain period, using two metrics that measure startup growth: (1) the sales growth rate and (2) market capitalization growth rate.
Through the use of this index, which comprises startups demonstrating high growth potential—including through investment in linked products such as ETFs—we aim to foster a virtuous cycle: promoting management practices more focused on growth within startups and expanding investment in startups that achieve growth.
