Apr. 02, 2024 TSE Reminder Regarding the Criteria for Inclusion in the List of Companies That Have Disclosed Information Regarding "Action to Implement Management That Is Conscious of Cost of Capital and Stock Price"

In March 2023, Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. (TSE) requested that all listed companies on the Prime and Standard Markets take "Action to Implement Management that is Conscious of Cost of Capital and Stock Price."
Many listed companies are taking steps to respond to the request, with 59% of Prime Market listed companies (969 cos.) and 22% of Standard Market listed companies (348 cos.) disclosing information as of February 29, 2024.

Since it is expected that many companies, especially those with fiscal years ending in March, will be disclosing new initiatives, etc. or updating their disclosures in preparation for their earnings reports and annual general meetings of shareholders, TSE has released a reminder for listed companies regarding the criteria for inclusion in the list of companies that have disclosed information.

TSE would like to ask listed companies to continue their proactive efforts, taking into consideration expectations from shareholders and investors.
In addition, TSE would also like to ask investors to actively engage in constructive dialogue with listed companies with the aim of achieving medium- to long-term improvements in the corporate value of listed companies.
