Contributing to Society

JPX actively participates in events that give back to local communities that support its activities on a daily basis.

Environment, Communities, Society

Every year, in Tokyo, JPX cooperates in the "Chuo City Marugoto Museum,“ an event that likens all of Tokyo’s Chuo City to a museum. In Osaka, we participate annually in "Open House Osaka," an initiative to create and advertise new charm through the currently existing "living architecture,“ in the view of making the city a giant museum.

JPX’s other contributions to local communities include participating in cleanup programs in Tokyo’s Kabutocho district. JPX also takes part in cleanup activities sponsored by the Nihonbashi Preservation Committee and the Hie Sanno Festival in Tokyo’s Kabuto-cho neighborhood where Tokyo Stock Exchange is located, and in Osaka’s neighborhood, clean-up activities at Sakai-suji, one of Osaka’s renowned main streets.

In April and December of 2020, Osaka Exchange was illuminated in blue as a token of gratitude to the medical professionals working on the front lines in the midst of the growing impact of the pandemic.
