Jul. 04, 2018 TSE Public Inspection of Improvement Status Report: UKC Holdings Corporation

３．Reason for Submission On Jul. 25, 2017, UKC Holdings Corporation (hereinafter "the Company") disclosed an investigation report of the third-party committee concerning inappropriate accounting treatment by a subsidiary of the Company, UKC ELECTRONICS (H.K.) CO., LTD., and on Jul. 31, 2017, the Company disclosed corrections to past earnings reports, etc.
This was a case of inappropriate disclosure arising from deficiencies in the Company's organizational structure for conducting appropriate timely disclosure, and improvements to the organizational structure were deemed highly necessary. As such, TSE required the Company to submit a report containing the background of the issue and improvement measures.
As required after six months from the submission of the Improvement Report, the Company has submitted a report on the status of implementation and operation of the improvement measures ("Improvement Status Report").
  • After submission of the Improvement Status Report, etc. by the Company, they will be made available on the JPX website and through the TDnet database service.
