Sep. 25, 2017 TSE <Correction> Index Calculation in relation to shares of JAPAN POST HOLDINGS Co., Ltd. (6178)

 

Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. (TSE) revised the procedure of the index inclusion of the shares of JAPAN POST HOLDINGS Co., Ltd. (6178) as below.

While shares of JAPAN POST HOLDINGS Co., Ltd owned by the Japanese government are not included in the number of shares used for TSE’s index calculation at this moment, in response to the secondary share offering by JAPAN POST HOLDINGS Co., Ltd, the listed shares in the secondary share offering will be added in TSE indices as follows;

Adjustment Date: September 29, 2017 (the close of trading on September 28, 2017)
Additional Number of Shares Used for Index Calculation: 990,099,100 (the total number of secondary offered shares including additional offerings)

In case the total number sold at the closing of offering differentiates from the above number, the differentials will be deducted from the " Additional Number of Shares Used for Index Calculation " on October 31, 2017 (the close of trading on October 30, 2017).
