Dec. 16, 2022 OSETOCOM Derivatives Holiday Trading Days (Finalized) for the Second Half of 2023
Osaka Exchange, Inc. (OSE) and Tokyo Commodity Exchange, Inc. (TOCOM) launched holiday trading in our derivatives market on September 23, 2022 (Autumnal Equinox Day), from the perspective of further convenience for investors through provision of hedging opportunities during national holidays, thereby strengthening the competitiveness of Japan's derivatives markets.
We today announce the finalized derivatives holiday trading days for the second half of 2023 as follows.

| November 23 2023 (Thurs.) (Labor Thanksgiving Day) | Open |
- In principle, all current non-business days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and January 1) will be eligible for holiday trading.
- September 23 2023(Autumnal Equinox Day) is Saturday.
- December 31 and January 2 will be excluded from the holiday trading scheme for the time being. Markets will be opened on January 3 2024 (New Year Holidays)
- This handling will be the same for both OSE and TOCOM. Please be noted that JGB futures, options on JGB futures and securities options will not be eligible for holiday trading.
- Market will not be opened* on November 3, 2023 (Culture Day) due to production migration for introduction of new margin calculation method (VaR method) for futures/options contracts which is planned to be implemented for November 3 through 5.
